Underground Concrete Structures
Lift stations and grease traps, set into the hole and left square.
A wet well gets one shot at going in level. Everything after that is either plumbing or digging it back out.
Precast concrete arrives heavy, on a trailer with no room to reposition, and it goes into a hole that was dug to fit it. Nothing gets nudged once it is down in soft ground, so it has to land square and on grade the first time or the whole structure comes back up.
The other half of the job is where the machine sits. An open excavation changes what the ground beside it will carry, and a crane set too close to the edge is a problem long before the load leaves the trailer. That gets worked out with your excavator before anybody digs back for us.
Sections stack in order, base then risers then top slab, and each one waits on the crew in the hole. We run at their pace rather than ahead of it.
